Delivered early and tasted very good. Portions a little are a little small so order extra!
There was hardly any meat the sauce was thin and tastless the onion bahjees smelt of grease never had a bad meal before but this wasnt good at all total waste of money was really looking forward to it as well!!
Food tasted very good and delivery prompt. However portions were a bit mean, only a few pieces of chicken in the main dish and the onion bhaji & lamb tikka portions were very small.
Absolutely lumptious - definitely go back for those bhajis
I dont know. Still waiting.... Ok after more than 2 hours i have it and the food is lukewarm :( "The kitchen was busy". Not even a phone call to me. I tried calling 9 times but engaged. Food tasty though but i have to heat it again. Not good when hungry.
Simply never again.
This was my second time of ordering from Prince of India through hungryhouse. Both times the food was lovely but the HungryHouse changed the delivery times on both occasions so I was waiting an hour and a half and more for my food. :(
Our meal was a disappointment, and a surprise, as we have previously enjoyed excellent food from the same restaurant. The best elements were some very nice poppadums and a lovely peshwari nan, but the onion bhajis were very greasy and the vegetable biryani was not nearly as good as usual: the sauce was really thin and tasteless.
We decided to try the Prince of India after our initial order with another restaurant had been cancelled. The order was made at approx 8.30pm and we we told that this would arrive in approx 40mins. After a short while an email came though saying that the order wasn't going to be delivered until 10.30pm (there was no option for collection or we would have chosen it). We decided to wait anyway as we'd already had one order messed around. It did turn up just before 10.30pm but then the food was as disappointing as the delivery. Most of the dishes were luke warm and things had been sweating in their packets. The mains weren't that nice, the chicken Korma was very runny and lacked flavour and the chicken Sag was also lacking. The meat samosa starter was two extremely small triangles which for the price was rediculous. On the plus side the chicken pakora's were really nice albeit virtually cold. The chicken Makhani was also very nice. Needless to say after this experience we will not be using this place again. I know they have an eat in restaurant and hope that customers have better service than those who want a take away. Ultimately if a restaurant has the facility to decline orders like first choice place did then I wish they would use their discretion. Nearly two hours for a delivery 10mins from the place is bonkers.
Not all of the order was delivered initially, we had to call up to get it sent along...
Curry was cold on delivery and not what I ordered. It also took then an hour and a half to deliver it to me. Would not recommend.
Good staff and friendly and polite. But food is aweful. You could make better yourself in a few mins. Pathetic. Will never order again from here
Food as always great, but I'm afraid this is the last time. Waiting every time 1.5-2h is just too long.
